The students and staff at WCS have had a fun filled Warrior spirit week celebrating Homecoming 2008. Monday kicked off spirit week with “crazy hat” day and we ended the week with “come up with a theme and dress as a class day”. Tonight we had our third annual Homecoming Coffee House. During the Coffee House the kids come to school to play games, eat food, watch movies, and socialize. Tomorrow morning will begin with the traditional athlete’s breakfast and then we’ll enjoy a full day of sports competitions. WCS will play our rival, the Finney Falcons, in volleyball and boys and girls soccer. I love to watch a good volleyball and soccer game, especially against two rival teams. I’m also looking forward to seeing some of my former students. Homecoming is always an exciting event!!! I’ll post pictures of the continued Homecoming festivities tomorrow.
